Plot

Summary

Dawn has trouble juggling her schedule when she joins the school soccer team and starts playing the tuba. She tells her parents that she can do it all.

Full Plot

Despite being busy with soccer as Edgewood buffalos' goalkeeper, Dawn joins Mrs. Bing's Edgewood Classic Orchestra music group. She starts practicing how to play the tuba. After realizing that Dawn is unable to balance both soccer and music, Anne and Tom ask her to drop one activity but she refuses. She brags that she can do it all. She even nicknames herself, "Do-It-All Dawn."

Nicky, Ricky and Dicky don't want her to be in both soccer and music too because that means they would be forced to attend her concerts in addition to her soccer games. But then they realize that they can take advantage of the situation by selling snacks and refreshments during the concerts and games. So, they agree to help Dawn remain in both. Unfortunately, Dawn's soccer game is scheduled the same day and time as Mrs. Bing's orchestra performance. Dawn is required to be in both events. So, she seeks her idle brothers help. They don't want to help at first because it would mean that they have to sacrifice selling snacks. However, after seeing how their sister is suffering, they agree to help her.

During the big day, Dawn's brothers get a golf cart to help transport her between her soccer game and her orchestra performance during breaks. She almost makes it through the game and the performance, but she eventually gets busted. She admits that she can't do it all and needs to learn to balance things.
